Cities Covered with Tour : Delhi - Jaipur - Mandawa - Bikaner - Jaisalmer - Jodhpur - Udaipur
DAY 01: Arrival at Delhi
Receive a warm and traditional welcome at the airport in Indian style and transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 02: Delhi
After breakfast, proceed for city sightseeing including Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Rajghat, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan and Mughal Gardens, Qutab Minar and Humayun's Tomb. In the evening, see the famous sound and light show at the Red Fort. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 03: Delhi - Jaipur (approx. 265-kms / 5 hr.)
After breakfast we drive to the Jaipur day is leisure. In the evening visit "Laxmi Narayan Mandir", a Hindu temple made out of white marble. We might have an opportunity here to observe a prayer ceremony. Today night we have dinner with a presentation of Indian traditional music and dance at Chokhi Dhani. Back to hotel and stay.
DAY 04: Jaipur
Today we drive to the Pink City, Jaipur, this city owes its name, foundations and careful planning to the great warrior and astronomer, Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan and famous for its handicrafts and precious and semiprecious stones.In the afternoon we visit the city palace which is still the formal residence of the royal family, built in a blend of the Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. In the museum of the city palace we visit the private collection of the Jaipur Mahrajas. We continue to Jantar Mantar, a stone observatory, the largest of Jai Singh's five remarkable observatories. Its complex instruments reveals us the secrets of medieval Indian astronomy. Then Amber fort Amber was the ancient capital of Kachhawaha dynasty for 6 centuries before it was moved to newly created Jaipur. We will ascend to the Palace Fortress on the back of an Elephant. Enroute to Amber we visit the Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds), built in 1799 AD, it contains 953 small casements with each having its own balcony. The windows enabled cool air to circulate and the ladies to watch processions below without being seen.In the afternoon we have a walk through the colourful Bazaar of Jaipur and visit a factory to see the famous block printing work being done since centuries in Jaipur.
DAY 05: Jaipur - Mandawa (approx. 180-kms / 3.30 hr.)
In the morning, drive to Mandawa in the Shekhawati region. Check in at the hotel and explore the painted Havelis of the famous and rich merchants of the region that belong to 18th and 19th centuries. Most of these fabulous painting represent the deities that the natives worship and the daily life of the people. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 06: Mandawa - Bikaner (approx. 188-kms / 4 hr.)
After breakfast, drive to Bikaner and check in the hotel. A visit to the world-famous Camel Breeding Farm is in store for the day, where you can ride the camels and see how they are reared up including the 16th century Junagarh Fort, Lalgarh Palace and famous Jain Temples.
DAY 07: Bikaner - Jaisalamer (approx. 332-kms / 5.30 hr.)
After breakfast, drive to (Enroute visit Khimsar - You can also sight migratory birds the Siberian Cranes around the lakes.) Jaisalamer and check in at the hotel. Day is leisure. In the evening drive to Sam Sand Dunes (40 K.M.) for camel ride where you see culture programme Fock dances with traditional dinner. Overnight stay at resort at sand dunes.
DAY 08: Jaisalamer
After breakfast, drive to Jaisalamer city and check in the hotel after lunch local sightseening for Jaisalmer city which includes Gadisar Lake, Jain Temples, Golden Fort, Nathmalji ki Haveli, Patwon ki Haveli and night stay at jaisalmer.
DAY 09: Jaisalamer - Jodhpur (approx. 285-kms / 4.30 hr.)
After breakfast, drive to (Enroute visit Pokhran fort - 14th century citadel also known as “Balagarh” stands as a paragon amidst the Thar Desert. This monument is the premier fort of The Chief of Mighty Champawats (the clan of Rathores) has to its erstwhile aristocratic title attached the prestigious honour ‘Pradhan’ ( The Premier Noble) to recognize every Thakur of Pokaran as of the first honour in The Darbar (the court) of the state Marwar- Jodhpur.) Jodhpur and check in the hotel. Day is leisure. Evening free for shopping.
DAY 10: Jodhpur
In the morning, after breakfast proceed to city tour of Jodhpur with Mehrangarh Fort with its many palaces and courtyards on the top of Aravali Ranges; Umaid Bhawan Palace, still used as the residence for the royal family of Jodhpur in part and rest of it being used as the heritage hotel and a museum; and the Government Museum that has a rich collection of imperial dresses, portraits of the royal family and arms and ammunitions. Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 11: Jodhpur - Udaipur (approx. 270-kms / 5.00 hr.)
After breakfast, drive to (Enroute visit Ranakpur temple - Ranakpur is known for its superbly carved marble Jain Temples. An enormous basement of this temple covers 48,000 sq. feet. There are four subsidiary shrines, twenty four pillared halls. The total number of columns is 1,444, all of which are intricately carved, no two being alike. The Ranakpur Jain Temples were built during the 15th century.) Udaipur city and check in the hotel. Day is leisure.
DAY 12: Udaipur
In the morning, after breakfast proceed to city tour of Udaipur. "The Venice of the East", Udaipur is an enchanting city. From lakes in the midst of sandy terrain to green forested hills where wildlife still abounds, the surprises are endless. Udaipur is surrounded by the Aravalli mountain ranges situated on the edge of three lakes. We start our sightseeing with the visit of Sahelion-Ki-Bari (Queen's resort for the maids of honour). After the visit of Garden of Maids we visit a Museum of folk art. This museum has a rich collection of Folk dresses, ornaments, puppets, masks, dolls, folk musical instruments and paintings on display, jagdish Temple, City palace, the biggest Palace in India, The museum of the palace includes the beautiful peacock mosaic and miniature wall paintings of Indian mythology. In the evening we have a Boat ride on the lake Pichola.The famous Lake Palace of Udaipur was the summer residence of the former rulers. Night stay at hotel.
DAY 13: Udaipur
After breakfast depart for Airport or Railway station to your onward journey.
