Mount Abu Tour
This beautiful hill health resort spread over 22 x 5 km of strangely shaped hills and green forests is situated at height of 1219 m. amidst the Aravali Hills in Sirohi District.
Its temples with medieval-Indian sculptures have made it attractive. In the past it was summer resort of Maharajas Today Mount Abu is one of the most popular hill resort of Gujarat and Rajasthan and pilgrim centre of Jains. It is situated at 27 km away from Abu Road Railway station. Mount Abu is also the headquarter of infernationally known “Brahma Kumari Eswariya Vidyalaya”, This is the only hill station in Rajasthan.
The Nakki Lake
On the way to the market from sunset point is the Nakki Lake. This artificial lake at the heart of the city and surrounded by hills has a few islets emerging from water. As per legend it was dug out by Gods with their nails. The lake is focul point of tourists. Tourists can enjoy boating here.
Toad Rock
It is a toad shaped rock stands over hanging in the south of the Nakki Lake. Nun Rock, near the tennis court of Rajputana Club is another attractive rock seems like a valid nun. The beautiful park is called Gandhi Park, other parks are Ashok Vatika, Municipal Park, Shaitan Singh Park and Terrace Garden.
Adhar Devi Temple
It is situated 3 km away on the way to Kodarma Dam. A flight of 220 steps leads to the entrance gate carved out a hill. The deity is Durga, worshiped as Adhardevi or Arbudadevi. The temple ofters a beautiful view of the city.
Raghunathji Temple
At Gandhi Park is the 14th century Raghunathji temple housing the diety installed by Shri Ramanand Swami Maharaja. Another ancient temple of Lord Shiva, commonly known as Dhuleshwar Mahadev stands nearby. A little further is Madhuban the “Brahmakumari” World Spritual University. Madhuban has a museum too. The Museum: Is situated on Raj Bhavan Road. It has housed archaeological artefacts of the 8-12th century and collection of Jain sculptures.
Sunset Point
Situated in the west of city, within walking distance towards Rest House is Sunset Point, Where plateform is constructed to view the sunset. The tourists can enjoy to see the sun going down in a colourful manner.
Honeymoon Point
It ofters an enchanting view of the valley. The place looks most beautiful durig dusk hours.
Dilwara Temples
These are the prime attraction on Mount Abu and are situated at a distance of about 4 km. The temples here built between the 11th & 13th centuries are famous for their rich intricate carvings in white marble. Dilwara Comprises of the 5 temples of Adinath/Neminath/Mahavira/Rishabhdev and Parshwnath.

Achalgarh Fort
(10 km) Fort was built by Rana Kumbha in the 14th Century is connected by road from Mt. Abu. Beautiful temples of Achleshwar Maharaj, Kantinath Jain Temple and Mandakini kund, Meera & Chamundi are worth seeing.
Gaumukh Bhavani Temple
Situated on the Arasur hill near Mount Abu, Ambaji is one of the most Important places of pilgrimage in Gujarat because of the famous temple of goddess Ambaji, also known as Amba Bhavani or Arasuri. It is the principal shrine of the goddess in Gujarat its actual origins are still unknown. The fact that this temple does not have an idol is indicative of it antiquity, since the worship of images of deities became popular much later.
Built of the finest Quality of marble, the temple of Ambaji sis recognized as one of the original Shakti Pithas Where, according to the ancient Scriptures, the heart of the goddess Ambaji fell to earth when her body was dismembered. The diety in the temple is represented not by an idol but by a triangular Vishwa Yantra, inscribed with figures and the syllable ‘Shree’ in the centre.
During the holy month of Bhadrapad, devotees trek hundreds of miles on foot to reach the temple by Bhadrapad Poonam. In the vicinity are the well-known Jain Temples of Kumbharia and Gabbar, a steep hill whose peak bears the footprints of the goddess.
Guru Shikar
The highest peak (1722 m) in Rajasthan is 15 km away from the city. There is a temple of Brahma-Vishnu-Maheshwar here. A top is Atri Rishi Temple, which preserves the foot print of Guru Dattatreya. You can see a beautiful view of the Mount Abu and its surroundings from here.
